At Grill’d, we love giving back. It’s our way of spreading the local love in the communities we call home. For our legendary Restaurant Manager, Lewis, after 11 years with us, his favourite part of our Local Matters program is seeing the relationships and growth of his team and the community they serve.

“Local Matters is so much more than the tokens and cheques we hand out. It brings the community together and gives the team a real sense of purpose. Whether it’s running fundraising dinner nights or helping with the sausage sizzle at the local soccer club, watching my team and community grow through Local Matters is incredibly gratifying as a Restaurant Manager.

“It’s something truly unique to Grill’d, and I’m very proud of it”.

This month, as part of our Wicked: For Good partnership, our Emerald City Restaurant, Galeries is supporting incredible community group partners that we believe champion the core messages of Wicked – diversity, inclusiveness and authenticity.

“Every token in the Minus18 Local Matters jar represents a real, tangible act of community support. It helps us fund life-affirming events and resources where queer youth can feel safe, celebrated, and empowered to be their authentic selves. ReachOut Australia‘s Fundraising Support Coordinator, Laura says that being part of our Local Matters program not only shines a light on youth mental health, but also helps more people find the invaluable services they provide.
